Birthday Charity Project 2011 - Our love to the people who need Water desperately
Dear friends,
Van Ness will be celebrating his 33rd birthday in a few months time, this year we would like to propose a charity project, “The Water Cellar for Mothers”, as a way to celebrate.
The Water Cellar for Mothers Project that launched in 2000, has built over 120,000 rainwater-collection wells and more than 1,300 small water supply projects in western China, provides storing, purifying and protecting water resources to local residents, helping many mothers who used to walk a few miles a day to fetch water.
Our goal is to collect at least RMB30,000 on or before end of July and deliver to the Project Fund on 7 August. We will be awarded a certificate to our donation, moreover, our name (VIFC) will be engraved on a done piece of water cellar as commemoration. We understand this is not a small amount but with your generous support, we can make it!
We welcome all your donations to support the birthday project. For contributions, please refer to your local contact as listed below. Thank you for your support in advance.
